Song of Jhinuk is a feature-length animated feature film currently in development by Afroza Hossain Sara. The story follows the magical journey of a young girl from a coastal fishing village as she ventures into the depths of a vast oceanic world. Aside from continuous support from Alliance Française de Dhaka, the project has garnered multiple development awards and support, including First Prize at the West Meets East Lab and an art grant from the Metis Fund of the French Development Agency. Afroza has completed the film’s initial development phase over the past year with continuous support from Team Platform Ltd. And now, in this exhibition, she features a curated selection of paintings to the young audience as part of her development research.
