Laurie Cannac

Laurie Cannac is a solo puppeteer, who acquired her basic training at the Théâtre-Ecole du Passage of Niels Arestrup and Alexandre del Perugia, and completed it, on the advice of the latter, by going to learn her trade as a puppeteer in the street, in direct contact with the public. Her shows, whether she directs them or delegates them, always favor the multiplicity of reading levels to be both popular and profound. It is by drawing from the source of tales and myths that she finds a field of expression open to all audiences, each creation springing from a dialogue between a personal statement and a universal basis.
