‘Gaza Monologues’ is an international initiative of ASHTAR Theatre of Palestine in protest of the war taking place in Gaza. ‘The Gaza Monologues’ are testimonies that describe the horrors and traumatic experiences written by youngsters who experienced the Gaza war during their adolescence in 2008-2009. Tragically, in 2024, it seems that nothing has changed in terms of the suffering and agony of people in the Gaza Strip over the years.

In solidarity with the initiative of ASHTAR Theatre, Prachyanat is presenting – ‘Gaza Monologues, The Land of Sad Oranges’. In the performance there will be reading some parts from ‘The Gaza Monologues’, associating it with the reading of some parts from Palestinian writer Ghassan Kanafani’s collection of stories ‘The Land of Sad Oranges’.
